North Carolina State Games

(Tournaments for boys and girls of all age levels)

High School Information

-Five regions will represent, Charlotte area, Triad, Durham/CH/Orange, Wake area, Down East area

-Day one and two- all teams play one another- two games each per day. Day three the top four teams are seeded 1-4 and semifinals and finals are played.

-Open Tryouts- anyone can try out in each region. Each player must register with the State Games in order to tryout. More information on that later.

-Each area will select a Head Coach and Assistant Coach and determine how, when and where to run tryouts. The HS coaches in each area have been asked to form a committee to work out the details for their region- this includes public, private and club. The window for tryouts is June 1-4.

-Current Seniors are not eligible for the High School Tournament.

-All HS Coaches are eligible and encouraged to be in on the planning process and to take part in tryouts etc.

-Costs to the players will be minimal- costs may include a team jersey, travel, maybe a nominal fee to cover tryout expenses.
